Hi, Around year ago I bought 10 euro credit, but used only small amount from it.
Skype program shows correct amount left -7.15 euro, but on the website I see message, saying that I should buy credits to use skype out feature, and current balance is zero.
What is the correct balance, and if it is zero - what happened with mine credits ?
If it is not zero, why it is show as such on the website ?
Thanks

Subject: Re: GQW: Skypeout credits
Our records indicate that your SkypeOut credit balance has unfortunately expired.
Credit in your SkypeOut balance remains active for 180 days after your last successful PSTN phone call.
Credit balances on accounts with no activity during a 180 day period will be lost.
This is written in our Terms of Service, Article 6, paragraph 6.5: http://www.skype.com/company/legal/terms/t os_voip.html
You can read more about this policy on our website: http://www.skype.com/company/news/2004/s a_creditexpirypolicychange.html
Please notice, that there was always a warning about when is your credit going to expire on My Account page in internet (under the remaining credit number). Skype also send a notice to users registered email address 30 and 7 days before the credit expires in order to remind you to place a call to keep your balance.
In order to receive this notice please ensure you have a valid email registered with Skype.
We apologize for the inconvenience Regards, Henrik Skype Support

So, if I understand you correctly, I payed 10 euro instead of 2.85, or , rephrasing it another way, my calls were 3.5 times more expensive than you advertize.
I am sure your Terms of Service indeed have such paragraph, and I certainly do not plan to sue your company for remaining 7 euro.
I can not verify why I didn't received those emails (and I did not received them),
and I am sure you had correct email address (at least when I forgot the password, email that resets it was sent and properly received). All that I can do, is not to use your service (or at least limit usage to the "free" part of it),
and advice all my peers, coworkers and blog readers about those strange circumstances - and be sure I will not miss the opportunity.
